Whitechapel Gallery Residency
Very excited to see this tweeted out today via the official Whitechapel Twitter account.
And taken from their site:
Writer collective information as material have been called literary perverts, philosophically irresponsible and inspired lunatics. They have also taught, published, produced, curated, exhibited and performed internationally. For their Whitechapel Gallery residency, Craig Dworkin, Christine Morris, Simon Morris, Nick Thurston and Simon Zimmerman programme events that explore the possibilities opened up by conceptualist approaches to writing and performative approaches to reading. Through editions, conferences, workshops, discussions, screenings and collaborations, the York-based independent publishing imprint create a space for a poetic and critical engagement with issues such as ‘undesigning’, antiexpressionism and cultural piracy.
I’m not directly involved in any selection of projects or art based / publishing based decisions, I help in any technology aspects that they have and am on board as a creative technologist. I will be co-running the event for digital perverts with Simon Zimmerman around October 2011 time.
To read the information directly and to see more about what the Whitechapel Gallery do, you can go straight to their site.
