CloudApp

Just noticed that Cloud App has made an appearance on to the Mac App Store and it’s still free and totally worth the download folks. If you already have it, then you’ll be downloading it now I imagine, if not read on for more information.

This is a handy app that makes sharing images, text, links… most things really, a total snap. Instead of the usual

• getting the picture / screenshot / whatever
• logging into a service
• looking for the pic on your HDD
• uploading the pic
• copying the link of where the pic is
• then posting the link…

this takes all the tedious work out of sharing.

You can set it to upload every screen capture you make, which is great if you know you will be posting them, and as soon as you take a screen capture the little cloud icon turns blue, indicating that it’s being uploaded, and then you click the cloud and there is your link. It’s fantastic.

So:

• Take a capture
• share the link

It’s that quick.
